Sree Mayuri Dance Academy salutes Smt.Kalyani Veturi's Guru and Mentor, Sree Vedantam Ramalinga sastry Garu who is a Sangeetha nataka academy awardee, and now serving as principal of Kuchipudi Kalakshetra.

About the Teacher Smt.Kalyani Veturi

Smt.Kalyani Veturi is an accomplished artist in the field of Kuchipudi Dance, who won many accolades all over India and abroad. Dance has always been a part of Kalyani’s life.

She started learning dance at the age of 8 and attained status from Indian National Television (Doordarshan). She won laurels at national level at very young age, won several state and National awards from major organizations like, YMCA, Samskara Bharathi, AP Tourism, gave more than 100+ performances at reputed auditoriums in India, conducted summer camps, and participated in workshops with her Guru.

She has performed for well-known organizations in India including Dance festival at Pragathi Mydan, Delhi; Film Festival, Hyderabad; At National Games, Hyderabad; Kuchipudi Aradhana Festival, International Dance Festival conducted by Oberlyn University, Cavaliers Stadium, Ohio are among several noteworthy performances.

She served NEOTA (North East Ohio Telugu Association) as a cultural coordinator with her expertise in classical art form. Her creative choreography and strong Nattuvangam are the skills for success.

She is very passionate about dance and aims to spread and propagate the Indian classical dance form among different Cultures across different Nationalities. Kalyani believes that Kuchipudi dance is yoga in encompassing all art forms - literature, music, sculpture, physical exercise, spirituality, and every other imaginable facet of life.

Any Body Can Dance - Explore your expressions

BEGINNER DANCE CLASSES

Dance is a natural form of expression are both natural. So, it only makes sense to get started early. The beginner classes are best suited for kids of all ages, who have no prior experience or just a little knowledge of dance. The timings are flexible, and class durations range from 30-45 minutes, which not only includes dance instructions but also learning the importance of Kuchipudi dance form. Want to find out more? INTERMEDIATE DANCE

If you've just moved into town and have a year or more of formal dance exposure, this class is just the right one for your needs to continue your dance journey. ADVANCED DANCE

This is aimed at experienced dancers who are trying to get to their final certification and wanting to culminate their dance journey with a "Ranga Pravesam" [ formal Stage Perfomer level ]. We generally would recommend an assessment session followed by defining the roadmap for your final stage.

PERSONALIZED TRAINING / ADULT CLASSES

There is always that one school talent show or event where you are looking to have your child perform. Our teachers can help assess your child's current dance knowledge, and design a custom plan for your child's performance and style whether classical, or retro, or fusion.
